Don McDonell is the final member of the H.A.A. Treasury Committee.  He is also the Membership Officer.

Our Mission:The Hale Area Association exists to promote the local area and community through events and activities that promote our area, highlight our unique offerings and encourage economic growth and development.

​Kristi also serves on the H.A.A. Treasury committee and as the Director of the upcoming Squatchtober 5K run / walk.  She is also on the board for the Iosco County Fair.

Cheryl is a member of the H.A.A. Treasury committee, and acting Secretary for the Association as well. She heads the Farmers Market and is a member of Plainfield Township Parks & Recs.

The Hale Area Association is a group of like minded community members, business owners, and non-profit organizations.  Our membership is fee based and open to business, non-profit and private individuals that have a vested interest in Hale and the surrounding area.  The Hale Area Association acts as the Chamber of Commerce.  We are a 501 (C) (4) non-profit organization that is geared toward promoting the area and highlighting our diverse recreational attributes.

Tom is the creative go to for the Hale Area Association.  He does all the design work for Winterfest, Balloon Fest. and our Drive 65 campaign.

Shelly Baker has been a member of the Association since it began in 2008.  She is also the Director of the Hale Yes Winterfest that takes place annually the 3rd weekend in January.
